Do you know that Colorado is one of four states in “hail alley?” Our Lakewood and Ken Caryl team has been restoring storm damage in Ken Caryl for over forty years. Colorado’s hail season is from April 15 to September 15. The larger the hailstones, the faster they fall! According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), hailstones can fall at speeds ranging from 9 to 100 miles per hour! Usually, hailstorms drop a mix of different-sized hailstones, and only the huge ones pose any serious risk to people when caught out in a storm.
