• First aid kit
• Collar with ID tag and a harness or leash, a backup leash, and a copy of your pet’s registration and any other relevant documents
• A traveling bag, crate, or sturdy carrier for each pet
• Grooming items
• Sanitation needs like kitty litter, newspapers or paper towels, plastic trash bags, chlorine bleach
• A picture of you and your pet together, in case you get separated and need help identifying your pet
• Familiar items like favorite toys treats, or bedding to reduce stress
