When the Staircase is a Salmon Run, Call SERVPRO of Lakewood-Ken Caryl.

Even if one of the children tried to figure out how many action figures could go down the toilet in one flush, the technicians at SERVPRO® of Lakewood-Ken Caryl would not be surprised. By the way, don’t do it. Nobody wins.

SERVPRO of Lakewood-Ken Caryl

Water damage is a nuisance. It’s a smelly nuisance. It’s an annoying smelly nuisance. It’s a common, annoying, smelly nuisance. We won’t go on – although we could – because there’s no point in piling on adjectives. You’ve probably used them. The next time you need to handle water damage in the home, you may want to use a few less-delicate adjectives, which is your right, as long as you don’t’ direct them at us when you call for help. We are SERVPRO of Lakewood-Ken Caryl. We are one of the leaders in the remediation of water damage, and we can help restore your home and contents to their pre-water-damage conditions.

Call us at 303-973-4664.

Our emergency services are available whenever emergencies can happen: any time of any day during any week.

Basics:

  • We are Independently and Locally Owned and Operated, making it easier for us to arrive quickly when you need us
  • Human beings answer the phones!
  • Our office is in Lakewood
  • Community pride and national resources
  • Certifications from the nonprofit Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification, which means we invest time and effort into continuing education

Water Damage

Water starts damaging some surfaces the moment it hits them. Paper, for example, turns transparent and starts to shred. The dyes in some fabrics start to run, then set into other fabrics. It’s a cruel joke. Wood swells while wool shrinks. That’s another cruel joke.

Meanwhile, the water brings out the previously hidden aromas from the house, and the aromas are never those of baking cookies, but always those that remind you of the time your dog ate something that set the digestive system into hyperdrive.

If water remains for long enough (24 to 48 hours), mold spores open, and the mold colonies start multiplying. We don’t mean they’re doing arithmetic. We mean they’re eating nearly everything, and therefore growing.

Don’t worry. We realize giving you alarming news and following it by saying “don’t worry” seems odd, but really, you don’t need to worry because our SERVPRO of Lakewood-Ken Caryl teams have it covered.

We will:

  • Arrive quickly (yes, we said it earlier – good on you for catching that!)
  • Extract water, dry the structure and belongings
  • Search for mold or other microbial growth, get rid of active colonies
  • Remediate damage from microbial growth and water damage
  • Clean and disinfect the entire area
  • Get rid of odors
  • Help restore house and belongings (see our website for details)
